I am enjoying a quiet morning, a day off of school for Nate. The house is asleep yet I am up. I love quiet mornings such as this. With the Spring 2016 shows about to kick off this Wednesday at New York Fashion Week (NYFW) as I am playing around on my laptop, I just stumbled upon a Vogue article about who some famous street style photographers are most excited to see this week. Along with the usual suspects, Russian It Girl Miroslava Duma is just one of them, was a name that caught my interest, fashion illustrator Jenny Walton. Maybe it is because I studied fashion in college and miss seeing sketchpads and creativity all around me, but there is just something so amazing about fashion illustration. So I started digging and can’t wait to share Jenny Walton’s gorgeous fashion illustrations with you. She is the Editor of the blog Markers and Microns where she shares her latest illustrations. This is a sketch of Prada Fall 2015.
and this is titled Notebook Sketches.
This one is titled Gucci’s Red Bow Shirt
and this one is titled (My Favorite) Miu Miu Shoes Fall 2015
Here are some street style pics of the Brooklyn-based fashion illustrator. Simple and elegant just like her illustrations.
I loved this feature about statement earrings featuring Jenny Walton on J Crew’s blog just this past week. Click on over to see more pics and of course, her illustrations.
